The ninth-ranked West Texas A&M Lady Buffs came from behind thanks to a big fourth quarter to sink No. 19 Colorado-Mesa, 56-48, in the final game of the Tony Corbetta Oredigger Classic on Saturday at the Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo.
Despite shooting 38.5 percent from the field and trailing 43-40 after three quarters, the Lady Buffs found their rhythm in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Mavericks 16-5 down the stretch.
WT junior Sasha Watson led the team with 14 points and had six assists. She also had a game-high seven steals.
